- Warm jumpers, hat and gloves/sun hat and sun cream
- Slippers/clean trainers for indoors
- Changes of clothing (jeans are not recommended for outdoor activities)
- Nightwear – pyjamas/nightdress
- Towels, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste
- A small rucksack
- A large plastic bag to take home damp/dirty clothes
- Torch (with spare batteries)
- Plastic lunch box, plastic water bottles
- Some waterproofs and rucksacks are available for borrowing at no charge.

Teachers may want to bring additional equipment such as writing and art equipment.
Braeside does not provide pencils, pens and paper. Diaries are also a good idea for some groups.
Please note that children’s mobile phones, computers and computerised games are not allowed at Braeside.
