Excellent museum about the Kennet & Avon canal with touch screen computer and 'hands on' models. Braeside has a worksheet. There is a photosearch around the wharfside and a small shop, which is an excellent place for pupils/students to spend pocket money. There are some restrictions on the number of pupils allowed in the museum and shop at any time, so small groups are rotated around the three activities. Braeside teachers can give an introduction to the canal. Suitable for schools' own teachers to run.
