Visit to the locks at Caen Hill, the flight has 16 locks and is a spectacular example of pre-Victorian engineering. Pupils enjoy pond dipping in the pounds using nets and keys to identify fresh water invertebrates. If you are lucky you may get to see some narrow boats using the locks.
