Braeside has a variety of conference rooms to suit all groups.  The arrangement of rooms along with the audio-visual & multimedia equipment can be tailored to the requirements of the client or the course.

Areas available for conferences include:

The Lecture Room - the largest of our rooms, which can seat up to 60 in a lecture style seating arrangement.  A popular room for training days and lectures as well as large formal board meetings.

The Library - a seating capacity of up to 50 people. Can be used for meetings, training days and as a classroom.

Shackleton Room - the smallest meeting room in the house, which can seat up to 20.  This is often used for smaller, informal groups.

There is also a comfortable lounge area available for coffee breaks and informal working groups as well as a workshop/classroom for particularly messy, practical work.

Any room or combination of rooms can be booked for whole or half days. Tables and audio visual equipment are available for any of the rooms on request. Full professional support is available at all times from Braeside staff to ensure the success of every event.  Clerical and administrative services including word processing, photocopying and faxing are also available.

Corporate Events

Braeside is a unique venue for hosting corporate events.  All events are specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of every client.  Our conference rooms and grounds make an ideal setting for any occasion:

• Includes practical tasks which facilitate people working together and encourage appreciation of differences whilst bringing them together with common objectives.

The approach to corporate team building is mainly through outdoor activities, which include:

• Practical problem solving tasks in small groups (approx. 5-10)
• Water based activities, including canoeing and raft building
• High level ropes elements for both personal and group challenges.
• Navigation and survival skills
